That is what Jesus got from the big dogs at church, the Pharisees.  A pop quiz.  You see, Jesus had been questioned about the resurrection and marriage by some other church big dogs, the Sadducees and basically turned the tables on them.  Check it out.

So, after Jesus did this, he was then challenged in public by the Pharisees.   It was their turn to take a shot at him.   They asked Jesus what was the greatest commandment.  He answered with, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the greatest commandment.”  He quoted from Deut. 6:5, which the Pharisees should have known….it was in The Law, The Torah, The Pentateuch…It was their bible….the Law of Moses.  This statement actually was known as the Shema which in Hebrew meant to “hear”…hear this.

Jesus said,…Hear this…Love the Lord Your God with all that you have….heart,..where your blood is,….soul…..where your feelings are,….and mind,….where your intellect is….

God desires a relationship with you more than anything else in the world.  I will be teaching on this on Wednesday night at TLC.  It is really cool.  Matter of fact….I will be teaching on this the next 11 weeks……got  2 weeks done…
