If Spock could get into your mind….what would he find…….?   Christ can..and does!

Last post was on a wandering mind.  Thoughts being captive to Christ.  But how do we do that?  How do we capture our thoughts.   It is hard, it is a process and it is never ending.  Paul, this guy who killed Christians and then became one, told us how to work on it.  He said in Romans 12 that we needed to renew our mind daily and not be conformed to this world but to be transformed.  He told us to transform out mind daily.  It is a process, not a one time thing, a day to day deal.  In Ephesians 4:23 Paul tells us to be renewed in the spirit of out mind.  Again in Colossians 3:10 to put on the new man, and in 2 Corinthians 3:18 that we are changed into the image of Christ,…that is being changed is the tense of the word.

Spock got into the mind….Christ does too, but Christ is the one that changes it.  If you have an issue with your thought life, your imagination……first understand that you are normal, just like me, and that you can struggle with this stuff for a long time.  Renew your mind each day with Christ as the continual life changer.  Understand that it can be a life long process.  Don’t give up.

And……may you live long and prosper.  (John 10:10)
